Watch a short 3-minute film made with our AI models by our in-house creative team, inspired by the age of Victorian silent cinema.

Here’s more detail on how it was made:

Inspiration & Fine-Tuning: The team found a batch of 1800s photos at a thrift store afterwards used to LoRA fine-tune our image generation model Imagen to generate new images in the same vintage style.

Animation & Writing: We used Veo 2 Image to Video to bring the stills to life and Gemini for prompts & motion ideas, helping to shape the story.

Score & Editing: Eventually we used Lyria 2 to create a period music soundtrack. We then assembled the film using Final Cut Pro (video) and Logic Pro (sound). Text cards and vintage effects were added selectively, with the background for the cards created in Imagen.
